How to organize your wardrobe

Organizing your wardrobe is probably one of the hardest things. One can never understand what the perfect way to set all your belongings is, to the point that all of it is accessible to you. Here is an easy step by step guide on how to get rid of excess declutter and make your wardrobe a haven

Unwanted clothes

As many of us already do, hoarding is something that messes up our wardrobes big time. You might always have a pile of clothes inside your wardrobe that you neither wear nor give away. To organize your wardrobe, you need to make sure that you tidy up all those clothing items and get rid of them.

Cleaning thoroughly

Once you are done with getting rid of all the clutter, take out everything and anything inside your wardrobe and then clean the shelves thoroughly. We usually take a lot of time cleaning the rest of the house because we do not pay that much importance to the insides of our cabinets, and wardrobes.

Clear out everything one by one and use a sponge and some clean cloth to ensure that the debris has been piled for a long period. Secondly, before putting everything inside, fold all the clothes one by one so that you have a proper insight into what your belongings are.

The reason why this is important is that more often than not, we forget about the amazing apparel items that we have bought since we usually tend to wear the same set of clothing over and over again.

Use Custom cardboard boxes

Once you are done with folding all your clothes, the most important part of organizing your wardrobe comes in. You must choose to go for custom apparel boxes as your go-to storage space for your closet. There are a lot of benefits to doing so. You can put socks, T-shirts that are rolled up, jeans, pants, or even luxury apparel inside these boxes since they are always durable.

It is better to put more than one item in the custom boxes by carefully piling them up. Rolling them is also a good option to make sure there is added space. Pile up the boxes one by one on a shelf that is accessible to you, so that if you need them those items will always be there.

Another thing you can do is to hang all the delicate clothing like dresses, pantsuits, and tuxedos.

Adjust according to the occasion

Besides setting all the clothes on their respective shelves, one this is of the essence. You can coordinate the pieces of clothing according to a location. For example, if your hanger rack has jeans, dresses, and suits hung, you can adjust these hangers according to the occasion on which you wish to wear them. Start with putting casual clothing on one side, then move on to semi-casual, then semi-formal, and lastly formal. This way you will know what to wear on any occasion and will save you a lot of time for the selection of appropriate clothing. Happy organizing!
